1️⃣ From the motorway A7 take the exit to Nijar (AL – 3106). If you have google maps, it will take you through the village and on to the Nijar-Lucainena road travelling towards Lucainena.

Stay on this road for 2-3km, you will pass a bridge quite soon after leaving Nijar. The right turn is directly after a second small bridge, and there’s a sign marked “El Alamo“.

2️⃣ If you don’t have access to google maps, from motorway exit onto Al – 3106 into Nijar, go over 2 roundabouts, past a Pizzaria, and turn right into the village. This is calle Zona Escolar.

At the end of the road is a T Junction, turn left and follow it up the hill to another T Junction which gets narrower towards the top (you need to give way if you see a car coming down the hill). At this T Junction turn right and you’re on the Nijar-Lucainena road towards the Finca, see above.

There is a train station in Almeria city to and from various destinations, and then you might need a taxi or other BlaBlaCar etc to get to the Finca from Almeria (about 35 mins drive).

Almeria airport is about 25 mins drive from the Finca – exit the airport on to A7 if hiring a car and then see ‘by car’ directions, otherwise there are taxis at the airport and some other taxi firms we can recommend.
